Sharing Kindness Through Story Time

Nice Matters Publishing is a new, indie publishing company that specializes in children's illustration books for ages 2-7. Founded in 2021, NMP published its first book, I Have Two Mommies. I Have Two Daddies in 2022 and is currently working on 3 other titles to be released within the coming year.

Our books not only carry overt themes of love, tenderness, and real life experiences, but they also employ covert tones of equality and enlightenment wrapped up in beautiful artistic renderings and delightful rhythmic poetry that are sure to delight our young readers and their life long teachers alike.

Characters that embody diversity

Our world's inhabitants are incredibly diverse, as it should be. From the color of our skin, to the familial status and upbringings we experience, to life's experiences themselves. It's our job to include the faces, lifestyles, and relationships we have with one another and bring them to life through the art of children's picture books. Children are honest, smart, and very perceptive. They deserve to be presented with artful renditions of uplifting stories where they feel included and represented. 

Stories that teach goodness to all

Our books take into account our ever-changing world and the dynamics that affect kids emotionally, mentally, and physically. We are taking ownership of our awakening and continuing education in love, health, inclusiveness, environmental stewardship, and collaboration to the books we create. It's these teachable life lessons that help our children grow, embrace, and move through life's new challenges while employing empathy and humility towards all.
